Meadham Kirchhoff once again did not disappoint this season. The design duo paired with Penhaligon's again, this time to create a whole new scent. The name of the A/W 2014-15 collection, 'Tralala', is the same name as the new scent which Meadham Kirchhoff and Penhaligon's created together. The scent will be available to buy from Harvey Nichols on April 21st. Here is a collection of my favourite catwalk looks from the show paired with some nostalgic show references.

Update
I have been super busy with my new university project Nail Hart lately, so I have been neglecting this blog quite a bit (sad face). It's been so fun creating a new, fresh blog idea, separate to this personal blog. I will be reblogging my nail art designs on here all in due coure, but in the mean time, head over to Nail Hart and take a peak!
Here's a quick update on what's been going on in my life lately, apart from stress!
Here's a quick update on what's been going on in my life lately, apart from stress!
The gorgeous House of Harlow 1960 shoes which were given to me as a form of payment
for working over London Fashion Weekend. I'm not complaining!
Ring - Topshop, bracelet - Urban Outfitters, Earrings - Ebay (99p Bargain!)
Aztec Snapback - Urban Outfitters (£5 reduced from £20!)
New Brogue/creeper/espadrilles - Ebay (£14.99) Never worn a three in one shoe before, but I love it!
I KNEW these would be big, and I want it SO bad! As always, I am super obsessed with anything which appears as though it could be from the 80's, and this pretty little thing does the trick for me. The colour explosion, mixed with the floral print, mixed with the current spots luxe trend means this jacket is simply amazing, and I must have it. Oh and its only £14.99 from Primark which means it's ok to indulge, right?
I also spotted this top in H&M yesterday. I love the colour, the cut, the way it flows freely, and the fact that it is actually knitted wool. It would be perfect during the summer with some denim high waistys, or worn over a plain maxi dress!
I have a brand new iPhone, at last, a phone with a camera! So the following images are a result of me over excitedly snapping away and uploading to Instagram!
New fairy lights at halls
I left my nan's house with a bag full of her old 80's clothes the other day, she was shocked to hear that I LOVED them!
Best meal of the week.
Love going home to see my men!
I did these nails for the AW12 House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate Press Day,
a post on this is sure to follow!

Maarten van der Horst Hits Topshop
This beautiful, feminine, yet playful collection was brought to my attention recently. Maarten van der horst showed his A/W12 collection at LFW in February through Lulu Kennedy's Fashion East, joining the successful ranks of the likes of Johnathan Saunders and Henry Holland. He light-heartedly named the collection the “boardroom, but not boring”, and the “I love you, but fuck you collection”. Adding to his recent success, Horst was also named as one of Selfridges’ Bright Young Things in January along with fellow womenswear designers Sorcha O’Raghallaigh, Adam Andrascik, Alice Lee and MASC.
At the end of next week, Horst will be collaborating with Topshop to produce some tropical, hawaiian printed designs, extremely reminiscent of his S/S12 show. I can't wait until this hits the stores, to see the eccentric, exotic and beautifully tailored designs come to life! Definitely one to watch!

We're in May's Company Magazine!
Myself and the other girls from Emslie Creative, the new PR agency which I intern at, will be in this months Company magazine! We had great fun dressing up in some lovely festival apparel and telling you why we love Amber's fashion style. I absolutely love the red and black aztec top that I wore for the shoot, this can be bought here from Topshop. Also, the beautiful Devanashi cluster ring that I am wearing can be bought here from Kat & Bee. Exciting stuff!

Topshop School Girl Shoes
How gorge are these new shoes in at Topshop! They make me take me right back to my childhood, running around the playground and being envious of my friends new glittery jelly shoes. I was always stuck with uncool Clarks! To see more of the nostalgia click here!

WAH Inspired Nail Art
I absolutely LOVE nail art! When I was a younger I used to decorate my nails in all sorts of embarrassing cool patterns. As I got the new nail art pens for Christmas, and some new nail colours for my birthday, I decided to do some experimenting...
I decided to have a go at some leopard nails, inspired by WAH. Using multiple, unpredictable colours. I am really pleased with the results, and it was a lot more simpler than it seems! Here are the steps I took to achieve these nails;
1 Use a clear basecoat
2 Paint every other nail a different colour, starting from the little finger.
3 Paint the four nails left white.
4 Then paint half of the coloured thumbs white, and also paint the small top sections of the other coloured nails white, but this time at a slight angle.
5 Then on the white part of the nails add small blobs of colour.
6 Then go around these with the nib of the black pen. Also add in some random blobs and semi circles, to create the finished WAH style, multicoloured, funky nails. Et Voila!
Enjoy! Layla x
The Equipment
